
Even A Registered Will Can Be Set Aside If Suspicious Circumstances Around It Go Unexplained: Supreme Court
The Court held that proving a will's execution through an attesting witness is only the first step. Where a will disinherits the testator's own widow in favour of distant relatives, and carries recitals shown to be false, the person relying on it must dispel every doubt to the court's conscience and a defective registration will not do that work for them.
