Every person who shall intend to erect a building shall give to the Commissioner notice of his said intention in a form, obtained for this purpose under section 344, specifying the position of the building intended to be erected, the description of building, the purpose for which it is intended, [* * *] [The word 'and' repealed by Bombay 6 of 1905, Section 44.] its dimensions [and the name of the person whom he intends to employ to supervise its erection.] [These words were added by Bombay 6 of 1905, Section 44.]

(a) newly to erect a building, or

(d) to convert into more than one dwelling-house a building originally constructed as one dwelling-house only;
