Chapter IVMU — nicipal Officers And Servants

Section 86A

[ Sanction for prosecution of officers and servants of Corporation. [Section 86A was inserted by Maharashtra 29 of 2011, Section 3, (w.e.f. 12-9-2011).]

- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Commissioner shall be competent to sanction prosecution of any officer or servant of the Corporation which has been sought by the Police or any other Government agency. The Commissioner shall inform about grant of any such sanction to the Municipal Corporation in be next ensuing meeting of the Corporation.]
