Any person subject to this Act who commits any of the following offences, that is to say,—

shall, on conviction by court-martial, be liable to suffer imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or such less punishment as is in this Act mentioned.1. Subs. by Act 19 of 1955, s. 2 and the Schedule, for "the Commander-in-Chief ", (w.e.f. 7-5-1955).
