159. Power of Magistrate to furnish written instructions, etc.

(1) The Magistrate may furnish such written instructions as he thinks fit to the person making a local investigation under section 158.

(2) The Magistrate shall, in every case where he makes a local investigation, state who, in his opinion, should bear the costs of such investigation.

(3) The report of the person making such investigation may be read as evidence in the case.
