(1) With a view to rectifying any mistake apparent from the record, the Commission may amend any order passed by it under the provisions of this Act.
(2) Subject to the other provisions of this Act, the Commission may make such amendment in any order passed by it as may be necessary for the purpose of correcting any error apparent on the face of the record, either of its own motion or on an application made by any of the parties within a period of three months from the date of the order:
Provided that no such amendment shall be made in respect of any order against which an appeal has been filed whether such appeal has been disposed of or not:
Provided further that the Commission shall not, while rectifying any mistake apparent from the record, amend substantive part of its order passed under the provisions of this Act.
