(1) Nothing contained in this Code shall be deemed—

1. to affect the powers of the Supreme Court under Article 136 or any other provision of the Constitution; or
2. to affect any right which any suitor may have under Article 133 of the Constitution to prefer an appeal to the Supreme Court.
