Any police officer, who wilfully neglects or refuses to deliver up his certificate of appointment or to office or any other article, in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 26 shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees, or with both.
