Saving of application of Act .-Nothing this Act shall be deemed to apply to a licensee on whom a notice under section 5 or section 7 of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (9 of 1910), has been served prior to the coming into force of the sections, Schedule, and Table mentioned in sub-section (3) of section 1

Effect of other laws .-(1) No provision of the Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (9 of 1910), or of any rules made thereunder or of any instrument having effect by virtue of such law or rule shall, so far as it is inconsistent with any of the provisions of this Act, have any effect:
