Duplicate documents including copies of geographical indications shall be filed at the Geographical Indications Registry if at any time so required by the Registrar.

The Registrar may after notification in the Geographical Indications Journal alter the size of all applications, notices, statements or other documents and forms required under the rules to make it compatible in machine readable form.
(4)
The Registrar may after notification in the Geographical Indications Journal permit the filing of applications, statements, notices or other documents by electronic means subject to such conditions as he may specify either generally by published notice in the Journal or in any particular case by written notice to the persons desiring to file any such documents by such means.
