- The [State] [This word was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may, on such conditions as may be specified [by a general or special order permit -

(i) the sale of foreign liquor to,

(ii) the purchase, use or consumption of such liquor by,-

(a) the members of the armed forces in messes and canteens [of the armed forces], and

(b) the crew of warships or troopships and the members of the armed forces thereon.]
