(1)
The Superintendent of Police shall be the head of the police in the district or part of the district for which he is appointed as Superintendent.
(2)
The administration of the Police in a district or part of a district by the Superintendent of Police shall be subject to the general control of the District Magistrate of the District.
(3)
In exercising such control, the District Magistrate shall be governed by such rules and orders as the Government may make in this behalf.
