Every Police Officer, if he has good and sufficient reasons, for which he shall be accountable and responsible, shall have power to enter in any private place by giving due consideration for custom, decency, privacy and propriety, for the purpose of ensuring security or for preventing imminent danger: Provided that the Police Officer shall, as far as possible, strive to obtain the cooperation and consent of the person in charge of the building and premises before exercising the said power.
