The Government may, subject to the provisions of the Kerala Public Services Act, 1968 (19 of 1968) and rules framed thereunder, by general or special order, specify appointment, training, pay, allowances, transfer and other conditions of service of police officers:

Provided that conditions of service in respect of officers belonging to the Indian Police Service shall be governed by the All India Services Act, 1951 (Central Act 63 of 1951) and the rules made thereunder.
