On the issue of a notification under sub-section

(1)

of section 3A, it shall be lawful for any person, authorised by the Central Government in this behalf, to—

1. make any inspection, survey, measurement, valuation or enquiry;
2. take levels;
3. dig or bore into sub-soil;
4. set out boundaries and intended lines of work;
5. mark such levels, boundaries and lines placing marks and cutting trenches; or
6. do such other acts or things as may be laid down by rules made in this behalf by that Government.
