(a) affect the Presidency-Towns Insolvency Act, 1909 (3 of 1909),[* * *] [The words "or section 8 of the Lower Burma Courts Act, 1900" repealed by Act 8 of 1930, Section 3 and Sch.II.] or

(b) apply to cases to which Chapter IV of the Dekkhan Agriculturists Relief Act, 1879 (17 of 1879), is applicable.
