- On the date of the commencement of the application of the provisions of Chapters V, VI, VII, VIII. IX and X of this Act ti any class of public trusts (hereinafter referred to as the "said date "), the provisions of all: of the laws specified in the Schedule which might be applicable to any public trust belonging to such class shall cease to apply thereto :

Provided that such cessation shall not in any way affect -

(a) any right, title, interest, obligation or liability already required, accrued or incurred before the said date;

(b) any legal proceeding or remedy in respect of such right, title, interest, obligation of liability; or

(c) anything duly done or suffered before the said date.
