(i) The Chairman may undertake tours within India for carrying out the functions of the Central Board:
(ii) The Chairman may, with the prior approval of the Central Government, visit any country outside India.

[] In the matter of acceptance to tenders, the Chairman shall have full powers subject to the concurrence of the Central Board:
Provided that no such concurrence is required for the acceptance of tenders up to an amount of rupees one thousand in each case.
