(1)

The export of any specimen of species included in Appendices I or II of Schedule IV shall require the prior grant and presentation of an export permit.

(2)

The export of any specimen of species included in Appendix III of Schedule IV shall require the prior grant and presentation of an export permit if the species has been listed in Appendix III of the Convention by India or a certificate of origin in other cases.
