For the purposes of any proceedings under this Chapter, the following officers shall render such assistance as may be necessary to the Administrator appointed under section 58-G, competent authority and the Appellate Tribunal, namely:-

1. officers of Police;
2. officers of the State Forest Departments;
3. officers of the Central Economic Intelligence Bureau;
4. officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence;
5. such other officers as specified by the State Government in this behalf by notification in the Official Gazette.
