Whoever fails to comply with or contravenes any of his duties specified under-

(i) clauses (a) to (h) of sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) of section 6 or clause (d) of section 13 in so far as such duty relates to hazardous processes; or

(ii) section 80,

If the failure or contravention referred to in sub-section (1) continues beyond a period of one year after the date of conviction, the offender shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with a fine of twenty lakh rupees, or with both.
