- The [State] [Substituted for 'Province' by the Adaptation Order of 1950] Government may, by notification, appoint such officers of the 2 [State] Government or of any local authority as they think fit to be Inspectors for the purposes of this Act, within such local limits as the [State] [Substituted for 'Province' by the Adaptation Order of 1950] Government may assign to them.
