The first-aid box shall be distinctively marked with a red cross on a white ground and shall contain the following equipment, namely:-

1. For establishments in which the number of contract labour employed does not exceed fifty-
2. 6 small sterilized dressings.

1. 3 medium-size sterilized dressings.
2. 3 large-size sterilized dressings.
3. 3 large sterilized burn dressings.

1. 1 (30 ml.) bottle containing a two per cent. alcoholic solution of iodine.

1. 1 (30 ml.) bottle containing salvolatile having the dose and mode of administration indicated on the label.
2. 1 snake-bite lancet.
3. 1 (30 gms.) bottle of potassium permanganate crystals.
4. 1 pair scissors.

1. 1 copy of the first-aid leaflet issued by the Director-General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes, Government of India.

1. A bottle containing 100 tablets (each of 5 grains) of aspirin.
2. Ointment for burns.
3. A bottle of suitable surgical anti-septic solution.

1. For establishments in which the number of contract labour exceeds fifty-
2. 12 small sterilized dressings.

1. 6 medium-size sterilized dressings.
2. 6 large-size sterilized dressings.
3. 6 large-size sterilized burn dressings.

1. 6 (15 gms.) packets sterilized cotton wool.

1. 1 (60 ml.) bottle containing a two per cent. alcoholic solution of iodine.
2. 1 (60 ml.) bottle containing salvolatile having the dose and mode of administration indicated on the label.
3. 1 roll of adhesive plaster.
4. A snake-bite lancet.

1. 1(30 gms.) bottle of potassium permanganate crystals.

1. 1 pair scissors.
2. 1 copy of the first-aid leaflet issued by the Director-General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes, Government of India.
3. A bottle containing 100 tablets (each of 5 grains) of aspirin.
4. Ointment for burns.
5. A bottle of a suitable surgical anti-septic solution.

Adequate arrangement shall be made for immediate recoupment of the equipment when necessary.
